The Foreman's have a garage sale and Hyde makes "special brownies" to help out. When Red, Kitty, Bob, and Midge accidentally eat a plate of the brownies, a stoned Red sells the Vista Cruiser.

While Eric Forman is swiping beer for his best friends Donna Pinciotti, Michael Kelso, and Steven Hyde, his parents Red and Kitty hint that he may be getting the old Vista Cruiser. Now Eric can drive all of his friends – including the new foreign exchange student, Fez – to a Todd Rundgren concert in Milwaukee. A minor snag occurs when Kelso's obnoxious girlfriend, Jackie Burkhart, finds out and invites herself along. An even bigger snag occurs when Red tells Eric that he can't drive the car out of Point Place.

Takagi has gone somewhere and Sato cannot figure out where it is. While at the police station, the Detective Boys are approached by a man with a package for Sato. Inside is a tablet with a video of Takagi unconscious and tied up!

Yumi overhears that a promotion for Takagi will send him to a case in a far away place where he shall remain there until the case is solved. Apparently the case involves a large number of people in a crime organization, where he is expected to be there for three years. Later the Detecitve Boys are walking home when they noticed a strange jogger. Takagi, Sato, and Chou are placed on the case of a murder. The Detective Boys come across them and identify the jogger as the suspect. When they arrive, the suspect's allibi of video recordings proves he was there the whole time the murder took place, but the Detective Boys are certain he was the jogger. What's more, the allibi is confirmed by Officer Chiba, since it's his roommate.

At the last wedding of the summer, the gang makes a pact: Each of them will get lucky by night's end. Jess sets her sights on the best man, who also has caught the eye of a beautiful scientist. Meanwhile, Schmidt and Nick get an indecent proposal. Winston recovers from his police academy training, and Coach panics when he realizes he already has hooked up with every woman at the party.
