When Luke and Manny's hot-tempered basketball coach quits in the middle of a game, Jay and Phil both jockey to fill the position. Claire and Gloria each struggle with the realization that they might not be number one in their children's lives anymore, and Mitchell takes Cameron along to meet a prospective employer, but Cameron's big personality doesn't necessarily help to make a good impression.

Rachel's friend, Melissa, from college shows up at the coffee house which brings back memories of their "closer" days. Then when Melissa can't remember that special night in their senior year, Rachel goes to great lengths to prove to Phoebe that there was really a kiss. Meanwhile, Chandler and Ross argue for possession of Val Kilmer's tuxedo. Also, Joey drives Monica crazy when he insists that the wedding be arranged around his parents' schedule.

Kagome has her sacred jewel shards taken away from her and is returned to the present day, unable to return to feudal Japan. Back to her normal life, she agrees to go on a date with Hojo. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and the gang try to find out more about the mysterious Naraku.

Lucifer and Chloe investigate a murder during which a witness claims a winged guardian angel saved her life, causing Lucifer to become paranoid about his own actions. Meanwhile, Pierce and Chloe's relationship takes an interesting turn and Lucifer discovers something that could change everything.

Kitty forces Red, Eric, Hyde and Kelso to help out at a church fundraiser. Red spends all of his time at the craps table, Kelso and Hyde cheat at bingo so they can win all the prizes. Eric is busy worrying about his relationship with Donna because a church member told him that his wife was nice too, when they first met, until they got tired of each other. Jackie and Donna tell Fez that Caroline is a psycho so he dumps her after she threatens him.

Eric accidentally runs over Donna's cat, Mr. Bonkers, but fails to mention this to her. Kelso finds out that having two girlfriends isn't as wonderful as he thought it would be, and decides to break up with Laurie. He's surprised when she takes it well and only asks for one last kiss goodbye, but that one kiss causes more than one goodbye. Fez stuffs himself with cheese puffs, and then mistakes his apendicitis for a stomach ache.

The guys go see Star Wars and are all completely blown away by it. Red asks Eric to hang out with his boss's son now that he's started working at the plant full-time again. David was an awkward kid the last time Eric saw him, but now he's a hunk who likes reading Donna's short stories. Also, Laurie starts hitting on Kelso out of boredom.

Jules is thrilled for the chance to take care of Travis after his first big break-up. But when Jules discovers the truth about the break-up, she comes to an unwelcome realization about herself. Meanwhile, Sara considers whether Jules threatens her relationship with Grayson and turns to Ellie for guidance; and Andy searches for any resemblance between himself and son Stan.
