The whole family is gathering at Jay's before heading out to Alex's graduation ceremony from middle school, but while at the house, Jay is preoccupied hiding a botox mishap from everyone, Cameron is upset about Mitchell's habit of laughing at his expense, and Phil tries to sympathize with, yet also criticizes Claire on her impending breakdown over the kids growing up too fast. All of this, plus a faulty gate, could mean their missing Alex's big moment.

Jay could not be more excited to do nothing but indulge and relax in this tropical paradise, but then an unexpected reality check dampens his plans. Meanwhile, Phil is determined to make this trip romantic for Claire, Mitchell and Cameron have opposing views on whether to sightsee or not to sightsee, and the kids get into a little bit of mischief when left to their own devices.

Monica and Chandler prepare for their wedding. During the rehearsal dinner with their families gather the night before for the rehearsal, Chandler's tie get's tighter and tighter until he can't take it anymore and he disappears. Meanwhile, Joey is starring in a movie with a prestigious actor with a spitting problem.

Kikyo paralyzes Kagome. Inuyasha appears before her. Kikyo has been gathering the souls of dead girls. She vents her grudge against Inuyasha. Inuyasha reveals that he has never forgotten her. When Inuyasha kisses Kikyo, Kikyo tries to drag him to hell. But Inuyasha hears Kagome's voice and regains consciousness.

When Lucifer and Chloe investigate the death of a woman, they discover that they may be pursuing the wrong suspect. Then, Charlotte risks her safety when she decides to take matters into her own hands.

Eric, Hyde, Fez, Kelso and Leo go to Canada to get some beer. Unfortunately, they get stopped on their way back across the border because Fez lost his green card. Donna tries to convince Jackie that she's being scammed by a modeling agency. Red gets a bonus at work: a Beta Max so he can tape something now and watch it later, but he forgets a vital step in the process.

A work emergency leaves the Formans without Kitty on Sunday, and Eric and Laurie decide not to go to church. Kitty leaves that decision up to them, but when they don't change their minds, she brings the church to them by inviting Pastor Dave over for an afternoon of family fun and games. Kelso and Fez both grow beards, and Jackie finds the new, scruffy Kelso irresistible.

Red's mother Bernice has once again managed to make everyone miserable during one of her visits. While driving his grandmother home, Eric lashes out and tells her that it wouldn't kill her to be nice once in a while. Bernice promptly drops dead, leaving Eric to think he killed her. The entire Forman family (including Laurie and Red's brother Marty) comes together for her funeral while Eric gets drunk at a bar with the guys.

Despite Grayson's warning, a curious Jules reads the speech without permission and is left crushed when she finds she's not been acknowledged. Meanwhile, Ellie uncharacteristically does something nice for Laurie, and Bobby tries to restrain himself from embarrassing Travis on his big day.
